Setting Up mobileAxept With Fellowship One Integration
How do I authorize mobileAxept to integrate with my Fellowship One software?
There are two simple steps. You need to grant access to mobileAxept as a 3rd Party partner, and then you need to authenticate mobileAxept’s connection.

Setting Up mobileAxept With Fellowship One Integration
How do I authorize mobileAxept to integrate with my Fellowship One software? (cont.)
1. Click on your personal, secure mobileAxept F1
Authentication Link provided by mobileAxept.
2. Login to the dialog box using your Fellowship One
username and password. Your login credentials will need to have Fellowship One Admin permissions.
Integration between Fellowship One and mobileAxept is now authorized!
How do I find my church’s Fund or Sub Fund Names?
mobileAxept utilizes an API integration to seamlessly transfer donations into your Fellowship One portal in real-time. To connect your new mobileAxept keywords with the correct Fellowship One Funds, you will need to submit your church’s Fund Names.
1. Login to your Fellowship One Portal. 2. Click Giving in the top menu bar, and click Funds
(under the Setup section).
3. Scroll through the active Funds listed at the
bottom. Only the Fund Name is necessary to complete the integration. The Fund Code will not be needed.
4. If you don’t see the Funds you’re looking for here,
check in Sub Funds (also under the Setup section). For a Sub Fund, you will need to collect the Sub Fund Name and its Parent Fund.

Questions About mobileAxept Donor Registration
What does registration look like if the donor already has a profile in Fellowship One?
If the phone number is matched with a record in your church’s Fellowship One database, demographic information from Fellowship One will auto-fill the registration page.
What happens if a phone number is associated with more than one person?
If more than one person is found in your Fellowship One database matching a donor’s phone number, they will be presented a drop-down list of names to select, or they can complete the form with entirely new information.
Questions About Fellowship One Integration
If the person already exists in the system, but does not have a cell phone, is a new record created?
Yes, a new Fellowship One record is created for the person who donated through mobileAxept. All their contact info is populated with the info they provided, and they are added to Status Group System with status New from Website.
This means that mobileAxept donations won’t create multiple duplicates. If a donor uses a nickname for their next donation (e.g. Bob instead of Robert), their donation is still matched with the existing Fellowship One record using the phone number. These changes are not passed through to Fellowship One.

What does the donor record look like after a donation?
A donation that comes through mobileAxept -- either text giving or online giving – appears in Fellowship One as a Contribution Type Credit Card, with the Credit Card Reference, as well as the Credit Card Memo, labeled “mobileAxept”.
How do I search donations made through mobileAxept?
1. In the top menu bar, click Giving. 2. Click Search (under the Contributions section).
3. Select Type/Sub type as Check. The Reference box will become available (no longer
faded). 4. Type mobileAxept into the Reference field.
5. Switch the Type/Sub type to Credit Card. The Reference
field will fade again, but “mobileAxept” will still be visible. 6. Click Search at the bottom of the box. It will list only
donations processed through mobileAxept.

Questions About Fellowship One Integration
How can I clean up duplicates in Fellowship One?
A good practice is to use the Duplicate Finder tool on a regular basis to resolve inaccurate duplicates. You can find the Duplicate Finder in the Fellowship One Portal.
1. In the top menu bar, click People. 2. Click Duplicate Finder (under the Data Integrity section).
3. Select Search by Status, the System Group System and the Status New from Website. Click Search.
4. The finder will list all the records created by
mobileAxept donations that might be duplicates. Click Show duplicates to the left of a name.
5. Here it will show the two records that are potential duplicates. Click the checkbox next to
Match and click Match selections to merge the two records into one.
6. Now the next donation this donor gives through mobileAxept will be immediately attributed to
the correct person.

Questions About Fellowship One Integration
How can I tell which funds a donor gave to?
mobileAxept’s smooth API Integration allows donations given through any service to go directly into their matching Fellowship One Funds and Sub Funds.
In the example below, John Smith used text giving to give $2.00 to the church Building Fund (“building”) and $1.00 to the General Fund (“ma_test”).
How can I tell which channel donations came through?
An easy way to get quick, detailed reports on all mobileAxept donations, you can login to the mobileAxept Customer Portal. If you need help locating your church’s mobileAxept admin login, contact support@mobileAxept.com!
Can we customize the memo field or auto populate?
With the current integration, the memo field is fixed at “mobileAxept”. But we are always improving and updating our integration services, so stay tuned!
