The Virtual Terminal is used to enter payment and donation information for a donor as a proxy. Often this is because the donor needs help entering their information or has provided information in non-electronic means like an offering envelope.
You will need specific permissions to access the Donors section. Look for the Enduser Support or Donors (New!) tab at the top of your screen.
You may see the words Enduser or Donors used interchangeably. Each “enduser” is a specific account usually represented by a mobile phone number. A donor is a person who may have multiple "enduser" accounts if they have changed phone numbers or have entered information as a guest.
- Select the giving page you want for your organization from the dropdown list.
Donor Search
The donor search function allows you to find a donor using their name, email, phone, or last 4 digits of the credit card.
Mobile phone numbers are verified in our system, so that number is the donor’s account number. Sometimes, there are multiple accounts for a donor if they were entered in manually without a phone number. If a donor has a new phone number, enter that as a new account.
When you complete a donation, the donor will get a receipt of the transaction if they have an email on file.
Virtual Terminal – Launch Session: Please use these steps in order.
- Select the desired donation page.
- If you know the verified cell phone, enter and select Launch Donor Session.
- If you do not know the cell phone, search donors.
- If found: select, review, and Launch Session.
- If there is no profile, launch as guest.
- Verify personal information.
- Verify payment information is correct for this transaction.
- Select the fund and dollar amount.
- Process.
- You will have the option to process another donation to a different fund or close the session.
